A short route through the early levels.

Choose a race and a build

Choose Chinese or European, then a weapon style that you enjoy. Characters can mix masteries, so an early choice is not final. Read each skill description before you spend points.

First steps

1. Finish the starter quests near the first town. They give gear, potions and a first set of skills.
2. Hunt in a party as soon as you can; party experience is higher and monsters are safer.
3. Spend skill points as you level; read the skill descriptions before you commit to a mastery.
4. Join a guild. Active guilds share gear, teach the map and run group content such as uniques and fortress war.
